Welcome! Our names are Gabe & Olivia Sevigny. We met at Olivet Nazarene University & got married in October of 2017. Gabe has a degree in Mechanical Engineering & has worked at a heavy-duty commercial transmission manufacturer while Olivia is a Registered Nurse at a children's hospital. We currently live in Indianapolis, IN.

While dating in college, we knew we wanted to someday serve God on a longer term mission assignment. We both had been on short term mission trips and believed we could make a bigger impact by living in a community and using our career choices to serve those most in need. In July 2018, we went together to Kenya through Free Methodist World Missions and in just two weeks, we formed friendships with the people we met while loving our time there. It was during this trip we believe God was confirming our call to serve in an area for an extended time. Living in a community and creating deeper relationships will allow us to share the love of Jesus with people we daily interact with, and we'll be able to use our career paths to continue the work of Kibogora Hospital and help those who are living in poverty nearby.

We are so excited for the opportunity to serve in Rwanda in partnership with the Free Methodist World Missions & Central Africa Healthcare Organization! We are headed to Kibogora Hospital in the southwestern region of the country with a leave date of January 14th, 2021. Olivia will be helping with nursing education as well as bedside nursing while Gabe will be working in the management of the Kibogora Guest House. The Guest House provides lodging to visiting medical workers and missionaries who come to work in the hospital. It is currently overseen by the global Free Methodist Church but is in the process of transitioning to local Rwandan management. Gabe will be assisting in this transition while also assisting with the new maternity ward construction and other future development projects in the Guest House and hospital compounds.
